~Wednesday Trends~

Good morning, Friends!

It's me, Holly! I apologize, firstly, for not having this posted earlier. I was getting ready to do my blog posts last evening when I suddenly became ill. I'm still a bit shaky this morning, so bear with me!

The trend I want to share with you today is altered designer paper. If you're like me, you look at designer paper and drool. I have a tough time just cutting into it! When I got to the point where I have MORE designer paper than cardstock, I decided it's time to find some ways to use it! Here are a few things you can do with dp:

Stamp on it

Emboss it

Use it to paper piece

Die cut it

Fold it (as in origami!)

For my sample, I embossed my dp.
Here is a close up view so you can see the embossing better:

Now it's your turn to show me what YOU can do with designer paper!

Have a great day!! Hugs, Holly

  1. I completely agree! I hoard DP so much and all I do is sit and stroke it LOL! I've just forced myself to stamp on some Cosmo Cricket DP and even though I thought it'd hurt, I'm impressed with the results!
What a fab bold card - I love it!
