Wednesday Trends~ Spray Mist!

Hello Everyone!!
Its Piali here again. I'm here to share a quick tutorial . Glimmer Mists or spary mists are very trendy now!!
I like them a lot! I make my own spray mist as my LSS don't have them. Its very easy to make....just mix some Pearlx Powder, few drops of any reinker and water in small spray bottle ...shake it well ( you can let your kids help you with the shaking part, my girls love to do that) , your shimmery mist is ready!!

Okay !! lets use our mist now for some fab backgrounds... I just sprayed a piece of cardstock with 3 colors.

It looks so pretty up close...very shinny!! Then I heat embossed the background pattern from TSG~ Wonderful Winter Wishes stamp set with detailed white EP.

Ta-Da!!! Very pretty DP is ready for any card!!

I also like to use these spray mist for handmade flowers... I stamped the lovely flowers from TSG~ Dance stamp set, trimmed it and sprayed them with various spray mist. I like to wrinkle them while they are wet for a distressed look!!

Simply layered the flowers and added some stickles!!

Here is a simple shimmery card with a fabulous background and handmade embellishment!!
The sentiment is from TSG~Everyday Greetings stamp set...its one my favorite!!

Spary mists can be also used to create great one-layered cards...it helps mass producing a lot.
For quick cards I've a very easy spary mist technique!
I make a mask out of plain cardstock..... just cut a piece of plain cardstock with the exact same measurement of your card front. Then use any die cut shape and cut out a fun shape...like I used Spellbinders circle die here. Finally used the mask on the card front and sprayed it with the Mist....

After it dries up...go ahead and stamp an image of your choice!

I used TSG~ Dream A New Dream stamp set for this card.

Hope you all liked my tutorial!! Make your mist today and have fun creating , you can create a whole lot of fabulous backgrounds and embellishments with it!

Thanks for stopping by...
Have a great day!!!
Hugs~
