ABC Friday ~ Teacher Appreciation

Hi Trendy Friendies!

Holly here... bringing you a fun idea for those end of the year Teacher Appreciation gifts!

My project today is a personal sized bulletin board using FOUR different There She Goes sets.

This is super fun to make.   I took the back of an 8" x 8" pad of designer paper (the cardboard piece.. the heavier the better!) and I wrapped it with a 12" x 12" piece of designer paper.

Then I used a strong tacky glue and adhered the 6" x 6" cork board to the center.  You can find the cork board anywhere.   I purchased it at Home Depot a few years ago and I still have several pieces!

I then took a magnetic sheet (it's about the thickness of cardstock) and punched out circles and small strips to place on the sides of the cork.  I cut a piece of the magnetic strip 6" wide by 1 1/4" tall and adhered that to the bottom of the cork.   The extra numbers are tucked away in a tiny ziplock bag that sticks to the magnetic strip.

I then created a banner for the teacher using the A-Z and 1,2,3 set along with the banner dies.  The little crayons are attached to the heads of flathead pushpins.

Here are some closer pictures:

The hanger is lightweight wire that is doubled and twisted back on itself with ribbon adornment.

There were so so many options for what I could have added, but I didn't want to overdo.   It can be used for little notes, birthday reminders, artwork... or whatever!

Paper: Rose, Tangerine, Chocolate, White and retired designer paper
Ink: Rose, Tangerine, Chocolate, Black Onyx, copics
Accessories: Various ribbon cutoffs, pink 1/2 pearls, corner frame punch, cork board, tacky glue, ziploc bag, magnetic paper, wavy border punch, circle punch, dimensionals, sticky tape, tacks
